Meet Head Coach Emily!

Emily is going into her sophomore year at Virginia Tech where she is studying psychology. This will be her 5th year coaching for Brandywine. Her favorite part of coaching is getting to know all of the kids and seeing them grow as swimmers! A fun fact about Emily is she was a cheerleader in high school.

Meet Assistant Head Coach Lucy!

Lucy is a rising sophomore studying psychology at James Madison University. This will be her 3rd year coaching at Brandywine. Lucy is looking forward to having fun all season! Lucy’s fun fact is that she was born in England.

Meet Senior Technical Coach Lance!

Coach Lance has been coaching for 25+ years and for 9+ years at Brandywine. He also is the Head Coach for Shark Tank Racing Squad. He loves the sport of swimming and he believes it is truly a lifelong sport/skill that the swimmers can use/benefit from for a lifetime! Fun fact about Coach Lance, he loves tacos!

Meet Senior Coach Catherine!

Catherine is an incoming freshman at the University of Michigan where she will be studying nursing under a 4 year Navy ROTC scholarship! This is Catherine’s 3rd year coaching with Brandywine. This year she is looking forward to watching the kids improve and grow as swimmers, as well as cheering on the team during competitive races this season! A super fun fact about Catherine is she likes collecting playing cards from places that she travels to.

Meet Junior Coach Ari!

Ari is going into her senior year at Lake Braddock High School, where she is on their Swim and Dive team. This is Ari’s second year coaching, and she is super excited for a great season. She is most looking forward to pep rallies and meeting new swimmers. Her fun fact that she wants to share with the Barracudas is she loves to listen to Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen!

Meet Junior Coach Sydney!

Sydney is going into her sophomore year at Woodson High School, where she is a part of their Swim and Dive team. It is Sydney's second year coaching for the Baracudas! This season Sydney is most looking forward to the A-meets and having lots of team spirit! Sydney's fun fact is before every meet she drinks a full glass of chocolate milk.

Meet Junior Coach James!

James is a rising sophomore at Baylor University where he is studying statistics and sports analytics. This is James’s first year coaching, and he has also been a major part of the Brandywine family for 13 years. James is most looking forward to motivating the swimmers at the meets and sharing good meals at the weekly pep rallies! His fun fact that he wants swimmers to know is he will be a Baylor co-ed cheerleader in the fall.
